City On A Hill, winner of the Group Three TNT International Aviation July Stakes at Newmarket last summer, has sustained a splint injury and will miss the Sagitta 2,000 Guineas at Newmarket on May 6th.
The Rahy colt was the first winner trained by David Loder for Godolphin SNC, when scoring at Chantilly on May 25th.
Godolphin SNC is the two-year-old training operation set up last year at the former Evry Racecourse.
City On A Hill went on to win again at Chantilly in Listed company on June 15 before his July Stakes success, when he became the first winner in Britain for Godolphin SNC.
It is hoped that he will be able to race again by mid-June.
