Roger Charlton will decide later in the week where his promising colt Summoner will run at the weekend.
The trainer has the son of Inchinor, an impressive winner at Doncaster last month, in both the Lane's End Greenham Stakes at Newbury and the Stanley Leisure Thirsk Classic Trial.
Charlton said today: "We haven't decided yet. He's in two races on Saturday and we'll wait until nearer the time.
"The going will probably the same at both places really and we'll just see what the opposition will be.
"He's in good form."
Charlton is also set to run The Queen's unbeaten filly Fairy Godmother in the Group Three Watership Down Stud John Porter Stakes at Newbury on Saturday.
The four-year-old, from the family of Nashwan and Unfuwain, won both her races last season including the Listed Ballymacoll Stud Stakes at the Berkshire course.
"The intention is to run in the John Porter," Charlton added.
"She's very well. She had a setback last year but she seems to be over that.
"She might just need the race on Saturday but she's in good form. I think the trip will suit her."
