The sold-out signs are up at Cheltenham with 50,000 tickets and badges having been snapped up for each of the three days of the Festival.
The course's managing director Edward Gillespie said today: "Even though we have given plenty of publicity to the fact that we have been sold out, people will still turn up on the day hoping to get in.
"I am afraid they will be disappointed as we are not selling any more tickets or badges. Everyone must come with a badge or a ticket or they will be turned away."
The 4,758 staff, largely representatives of the Tote and caterers Letherby & Christopher, have been briefed in making racegoers welcome and Gillespie added: "They have all been well motivated and will be customer focused. After all they are the face of Cheltenham and will be well supported by us.
The provide feedback to us of any complaints or suggestions each day and we try and rectify them by the following day."
