Mick Channon is waiting on the weather before he confirms Seazun and Rowaasi as definite runners in the Dubai Duty Free Stakes at Newbury on Friday.
With rain forecast later this week the trainer is wary of running the fillies on heavy ground in the Group Three contest, the first trial so far for the Sagitta 1000 Guineas.
Channon said today: "They're both in but we'll just have to see what the weather does really. The plan is to run.
"They say it's good to soft there now and if it got real heavy I don't see the point on running in bottomless ground."
The three-year-olds could be re-routed to Newmarket's Craven meeting next week which, for the first time, takes place after Newbury's spring meeting.
"If we've got to wait until Newmarket so be it," Channon added.
"The horses are grand - in great nick."
Rowaasi won the National Stakes at Sandown by six lengths last season while Seazun, winner of the Shadwell Stud Cheveley Park Stakes at Newmarket in October, is a 16-1 chance for the 1000 Guineas with Ladbrokes.
A decision is yet to be made on High Walden's participation in the race.
Teddy Beckett, racing manager to owner Khaled Abdulla, reported the filly in good form and added: "It's to be decided at the moment.
"It's possible but we're deciding whether to go there or to Newmarket."
The daughter of El Gran Senor is Ladbrokes' 10-1 second-favourite for the 1000 Guineas.
