Godolphin`s Celtic Silence is among 81 entries revealed today for the #100,000 thehorsesmouth.co.uk Champagne Stakes at Doncaster on September 8th.
The unbeaten colt, winner of the Chesham Stakes for trainer Mark Johnston, was bought by Sheikh Mohammed`s operation following his Royal Ascot victory and sent to David Loder`s Evry yard.
Loder and Godolphin have four entries in all in the Group Two contest including TNT July Stakes winner Noverre.
However, Godolphin`s entry is dwarfed by that of Aidan O`Brien who is responsible for no less than 23 of the possibles.
His squad includes impressive maiden winners Darwin and Hemingway.
Henry Cecil, who has landed this seven-furlong event four times in the past, has three entries including impressive Newmarket winner Vacamonte.
Barry Hills, aiming for his third successive victory in the race and fifth in all has made five entries, Mobtaker, Mootafayill, Perfect Sunday, Shaard and Tortuguero.
Other notable entries include Champagne Lanson Vintage Stakes winner No Excuse Needed (Sir Michael Stoute) and the John Gosden-trained Richmond Stakes victor Endless Summer.
