CECIL PINS MUSIDORA HOPES ON WALDEN

A high-class entry of 16 fillies has been revealed today for the £45,00 Tattersalls Musidora Stakes on Tuesday, the feature on the opening day of York's Dante meeting.

Trainer Henry Cecil has entered Sagitta 1000 Guineas fifth High Walden in the Group Three contest, a race he has won with subsequent Vodafone Oaks heroines Diminuendo (1988), Snow Bride (1989) and Reams Of Verse (1997).

Others to finish behind Lahan in the Guineas who may reappear at York include Agrippina (13th), Issey Rose (16th) and Miletrian (17th).

Godolphin, who have won the last two runnings with Bahr and Zahrat Dubai, have entered Dignify while the unbeaten Embraced, an impressive winner at Ascot last time, could represent James Fanshawe.

Barry Hills has four entries in the extended 10-furlong event, Banco Suivi, Bedara, Clipper and Lady Upstage, although the first two named are also in Saturday's Victor Chandler Oaks Trial at Lingfield.

Other notable entries include the Sir Michael Stoute-trained Interlude, who carried The Queen's colours to victory on her only start at Doncaster last season, and Jeremy Noseda's Kalypso Katie, who has this as an alternative target to Sunday's French 1000 Guineas at Longchamp.
