Bad weather has put tomorrow's meeting at Catterick in doubt and an inspection will take place there at 7.30am.
There is standing water on the course and there is further rain forecast.
Clerk of the course John Gundill said today: "In light of the forecast we will hold an inspection at 7.30am tomorrow. The going is soft, heavy in places.
"We've got water standing on the track and when I walked the course this morning we had had 10mm of rain overnight.
"We've now had 17mm and a total of 37mm since Friday.
"The forecast isn't very good for this afternoon although it is supposed to dry up overnight.
"However, there are heavy scattered showers forecast and if we were under one of those there could be a problem."
