Paul Carberry has been passed fit to ride Florida Pearl in this afternoon's Tote Cheltenham Gold Cup.
He aggravated an old back injury when steering Sausalito Bay to victory in the opening Capel Cure Sharp Supreme Novices' Hurdle on the first day of the Festival and has been out of action since.
However, this morning he said: 'I'm not so bad and I feel fit enough to ride.
'I'm just going for some physio but I have to see the doctor before racing to get passed fit.'
Carberry is looking forward to partnering Florida Pearl, a 5-1 chance with Ladbrokes, in the Gold Cup.
He said: 'The horse is good - in great form. He's in there with a chance.'
