Paul Carberry has decided to sit out today's card at Cheltenham after aggravating an old back injury when winning aboard Sausalito Bay at the Festival on Tuesday.

Carberry gave up his remaining rides after winning the opening Capel Cure Sharp Supreme Novices' Hurdle on Noel Meade's charge.

The jockey had three rides at Cheltenham today, Oa Baldixe in the Royal & SunAlliance Novices' Hurdle who will now be ridden by Barry Geraghty, Native Dara in the Coral Cup and BallyAmber in the Weatherbys Champion Bumper.

The Irishman is due to partner leading fancy Florida Pearl in tomorrow's Tote Cheltenham Gold Cup.
