George Boughey will saddle Believing in the Group 1 Flying Five Stakes at the Curragh on the second day of Irish Champions Weekend.
Believing was last seen finishing runner-up to Bradsell in the Group 1 Nunthorpe Stakes at York, and Boughey told Dave Keena that there is a nice gap between the races and he’s happy to let her take her chance at the Curragh on Sunday.
He said: "It has been the plan for a while - it is three weeks (since York) and she has been backing up pretty good and I see no reason why she won't again.
"It is great to have a real rock star five (furlong) mare that takes them (connections) to all the big meetings.
"She keeps bouncing out of it as well as she ever has, so long may it continue."
Believing won the Group 2 Sapphire Stakes over the same five-furlong trip at the Curragh in July.
