After winning the fourth with Panstarr Jim Bolger and Kevin Manning quickly doubled-up with Slaney Street in the Roscommon Herald Handicap.
Fourth to Eagle Spirit at Naas on Saturday, the son of Intense Focus was turned out again quickly here, and went off a 9/2 chance in the colours of owner Jackie Bolger.
Sent straight to the front by Manning, the chestnut gelding made all. He was ridden from the two furlong pole, and kept on well from there to score by three parts of a length. Auckland (11/4) attempted to chase down the winner from a furlong out, but he ultimately had to settle for second under Ana O'Brien for her father Aidan.
The 5/2 favourite Gustavus Vassa was the first one off the bridle, and he eventually finished third another length and a half away.
Ger Flynn, Bolger's travelling head lad, said afterwards: "He's in the Newmarket Sales on Wednesday and we'll see how he is in the morning. Kevin said he floated around in front, and loved it out in front like the filly in the last.
"He was waiting for them all to come to him and they never came to him.He was delighted with him. He's been running consistent and run against some good sorts."
