Fran Berry completed a double in the finale at Down Royal when Emrani earned a hard fought victory in the two-mile handicap.
The John Oxx-trained Aga Khan gelding battled his way to the front just inside the final furlong.
Fellow 7/2 joint-favourite Alpine Eagle came with a strong surge close home but the winner just found more in the dying strides to record a neck success.
Oxx was also completing a brace after Natalisa landed the opener for the pair.
"It's tough for a three-year-old against the older horses. He ran well at Bellewstown after his break although he was a bit green," said Berry.
"He stays very well. I had to be tough with him but he was very genuine when the other horse came to him.
"He's a progressive staying type and can hopefully step up again. He's going to make somebody a lovely jumper."
