English contender Braizan put his frustating run of seconds behind him after he claimed the Airshow 100 Champion Four Old Grade One Hurdle in the hands of Jason Maguire.
The Evan Williams trained gelding cut out the running and always looked in command.
The pair kept on gamely from the last to win by an impressive twelve lengths.
Winning trainer Williams said afterwards: "No horse deserves this more than him. He has finished second in two Grade Ones recently and it's not a nice place to be."
"He's very tough and genuine and tries very hard. We were a little bit worried that the two Grade Ones would have taken their toll."
"I am disappointed for Paul Moloney who usually rides the horse. He got a bad bump at Uttoxetter the other day."
"I would like to thank Paddy Heffernan from Wexford who has looked after the horse and us the last few days."
Gordon Elliott trainer of the runner up Carlito Brigante said: "He ran his heart out and i'm absolutely delighted with him."
