Ballyfinboy (Kevin Sexton) gets the better of Davina's Tip© Photo Healy Racing
"They went a good pace which suited him but he idles in front," stated owner/trainer/breeder Jimmy Finn after Ballyfinboy gained a fifth win on the racecourse proper in the Martin Reilly Motors Hyundai Handicap Chase at Sligo.
Kevin Sexton rode the successful grey, and he certainly didn't go un-backed at a starting price of 9/1.
Ballyfinboy was always up there, and he got the better of Davina's Tip from the last. He then clung on by half a length from the staying-on Drumlee (bidding to supply Mark Walsh with a treble).
"He could go to Cork as there is a good Graded handicap there (October 18), and if there's something at Galway we will have to consider that as he likes the place," further revealed County Tipperary-based Finn.
