BRITISH TARGET GERMAN GROUP ONE

Britain is set to send a strong raiding party to the Group One Grosser Preis von Baden in Germany on Sunday following today`s final declaration stage.

Holding Court, the six-length winner of the Prix du Jockey Club at Chantilly, heads the quartet in the fourth leg of the Emirates World Championship.

The Michael Jarvis-trained colt will be ridden by Philip Robinson.

Godolphin will be represented by last year`s St Leger hero Mutafaweq (Richard Hills), having withdrawn Fantastic Light. Commander Collins was the other defection.

The foursome is completed by the last two runners-up in the King George VI and Queen Elizabeth Diamond Stakes, Mark Johnston`s Fruits Of Love (Michael Roberts) and the Sir Michael Stoute-trained Daliapour (Pat Eddery).

Leading the home defence in the 12-runner field is impressive German Derby winner Samum.

Andreas Schutz`s charge, unbeaten in five races, will be ridden by Andrasch Starke.

The going at Baden-Baden is described as good with showers forecast in the run-up to the weekend.
