British-trained horses, who feature on the lucrative supporting card to Saturday's Dubai World Cup, continue to please connections as the big day nears.
The Listed Dubai Golden Shaheen over six furlongs on dirt has attracted Bold Edge, trained by Richard Hannon, the Mark Johnston-trained Gaelic Storm and Rudi's Pet from David Nicholls' Thirsk yard.
While Nicholls has expressed his contentment at the form of Rudi's Pet, who is drawn wide in stall 11, Hannon is pleased with the draw received by Bold Edge in the #670,000 event.
'I'm delighted he is coming out of the two stall with David's horse, which flies out of the traps, on the other side,' admitted Hannon.
'I'm very happy with Bold Edge. He looks a picture, has worked well and travelled well.'
Meanwhile, Mike Channon is equally pleased with Golden Silca who tackles 12 rivals including the Barry Hills-trained Showboat and Ed Dunlop's charge Monsajem in the #1.14 million Dubai Duty Free a Group Three event over nine furlongs.
'She's fine after arriving Monday night,' said Channon. 'Mind you, she is a great traveller and has settled in well.'
Globetrotting Newmarket trainer Clive Brittain has a trio of runners to monitor.
Thunder Sky contests the Listed Godolphin Mile (#170,000), Crimplene the #340,000 UAE Derby and Pegnitz the Group Three Dubai Sheema Classic (#1.14million).
'I'm happy with all three,' commented Brittain.
'Mind you, I'll be happier on Saturday night when they have all won,' he added, with a smile.
