BOBBYJO COMES BACK OVER HURDLES

Martell Grand National hero Bobbyjo is set to make his reappearance at Fairyhouse on Sunday.

The 10-year-old, who was sixth behind Eulogy in the Whitbread Gold Cup at Sandown in April on his last racecourse appearance, will have his seasonal debut over timber in the Teal Handicap Hurdle over two and a half miles.

Trainer Tommy Carberry said today: "I'm pleased with him and hopefully he'll run.

"I don't know if Paul (Carberry) will ride him, we'll just have to see."

A repeat attempt at Aintree is on the cards but Carberry snr does not have any specific targets for the gelding.

"We'll just see as we go along. I'd like to get a run over fences into him but it depends on the ground, he wants fairly decent going."
