Blueprint was today reported in good form ahead of his tilt at the Hardwicke Stakes at Royal Ascot.

The Queen's five-year-old won the Sagitta Jockey Club Stakes on his reappearance and has been targeted at Friday's Group Two contest ever since.

"He's rock solid, in really good form and has been trained for the race," Sir Michael Stoute, who has trained 34 winners at the Royal meeting, told the BBC's First Show programme.

"He's a lovely old horse and has improved again from four to five."
