Officials at Beverley will hold an inspection at 9.30am tomorrow to see if their meeting on Thursday can go ahead.
The official going is heavy, soft in places and the course would not have been raceable today.
Clerk of the course James Hutchinson said: "The course is unraceable today.
"The forecast is for further rain which is not very encouraging so we thought we'd better have a look at 9.30am tomorrow to see how it was.
"If it is raceable tomorrow we will go ahead subject to the weather."
