BELLE HEADS NORTH

Be My Belle is likely to be prepared for a crack at the IAWS Thyestes Handicap Chase with a run at Down Royal next week.

Trainer Sean Treacy is planning to bring the front-running mare north for the Tattersalls (Ireland) Mares Novice Chase on Wednesday January 15 before the Thyestes eight days later at Gowran Park.

The seven-year-old made all in the Grade 2 William Neville & Sons Novice Chase at the Leopardstown Christmas meeting, and Treacy has the Irish Grand National as the long-term aim this season.
