Exciting chaser Beau is among the 24 entries revealed today for the #42,000 Edward Hanmer Memorial Chase at Haydock on Saturday.
The seven-year-old is 10-1 second-favourite with Ladbrokes for the Hennessy Cognac Gold Cup at Newbury on November 25th.
Nigel Twiston-Davies` charge, the runaway winner of the Whitbread Gold Cup at Haydock in April, is also entered in the Intervet Trophy Handicap Chase at Cheltenham on Saturday.
A number of the entries for that race have an alternative engagement in the Thomas Pink Gold Cup at Cheltenham the same afternoon, including Davoski, Celibate, Luzcadou, Norski Lad, Tresor de Mai and Village King.
Also among the possibles for the Edward Hanmer are the Sue Smith-trained The Last Fling, winner of this race last year, and Tom George`s Tremallt, who landed the Charisma Gold Cup at Kempton on his latest start.
