Tony McCoy is set to miss the Racing Post Chase meeting at Kempton Park next week after being suspended by the Leicester stewards today.
The champion jockey was found guilty of using his whip with excessive frequency aboard Ciara's Prince, winner of the opening Wren Handicap Chase, and was banned for two days (February 25th and 26th).
McCoy will miss the ride on the Martin Pipe-trained Gloria Victis in the Racing Post Chase on Saturday week, currently the 4-1 second-favourite for the three-mile contest with Coral.
