BALLISTIC AIMED FOR CHELTENHAM PRIZE

Tote Cheltenham Gold Cup runner-up Go Ballistic was today reported in good heart for his return to Prestbury Park on Saturday.

Alan King is aiming at the Pillar Property Chase with the gelding, who finished second in the Pertemps King George VI Chase at Kempton on Boxing Day.

The trainer said: "He is very well and I am pleased with him. He will go for the Pillar Chase at Cheltenham on Saturday and Richard (Johnson) will ride him."

Also among eight entries today for the Grade Two contest were last year's Gold Cup fourth Double Thriller and sixth Simply Dashing.

And Noel Chance has engaged King George disappointment Looks Like Trouble.

King will also bid for the #15,000-added Timeform Novices' Handicap Chase on Saturday's card.

"I'm looking forward to running Russell Road in the two-and-a-half-mile novice handicap chase," he said.

"He won on his chasing debut at Exeter in November but he struck into himself there and had to have a little break. But he is fine now and it will be good to get him back out again."
