Air Supremacy brings up O'Brien's treble Air Supremacy brought up a treble for Aidan O'Brien and a double for Seamie Heffernan when making virtually all in the concluding mile and a half maiden. The Galileo colt was soon sent into the lead by Heffernan, ironically in this Heffernan Tyres Maiden, but was challenged by Ringside Support racing towards the final furlong. Air Supremacy, the 9/10 favourite, refused to yield though, as he kept finding for Heffernan and asserted inside the final furlong to win by a length and three parts. Ringside Support took second at 4/1. The well-backed Sing Like The Sea fared best of John Oxx's three runners in third of the five runners, beaten four lengths. He went off 5/2 from 9/2 in the morning. Seamie Heffernan said: “He's a horse with a fair amount of ability and he's still babyish. There is plenty more to come from him. “He learned plenty from the last day as that track would have been a bit unusual for him as it's not like any of our gallops. “It's about improvement, he's improving and that's what you want. There is still a fair bit to come from him.” Air Supremacy was stepping up on a pair of runner-up finishes here and in Bellewstown. O'Brien enjoyed success earlier on the card with The Pentagon and Actress with Heffernan partnering the latter. Additional reporting by Gary Carson
