Acey showed a good turn of foot to claim the concluding bumper at Leopardstown today.
Luke McNiff produced the Milan gelding to lead under a furlong-and-a-half out and he kept on well in the closing stages to score by three-and-a-half lengths from Kildare Blowin
"He was badly hampered the last day and also badly needed the run," said trainer Tom Nagle.
"He's been working super since then. The ground was a little concern but he handled it well.
"We'll wait and see where we go with him. He has schooled over hurdles and fences."
