Racing is set to resume at Ayr tomorrow after an ease in the torrential rain which forced the abandonment of today's meeting.
Saturday's fixture was given the go-ahead following an inspection this morning.
Clerk of the course Richard Pridham said: "We are on for tomorrow unless there is a hell of a lot more rain.
"We had only 1{mm of rain overnight and the forecast is for just one or two showers.
"The going is still heavy and we couldn't have raced today but we are confident of racing tomorrow, because of the forecast."
