Border Arrow is set to make his reappearance in the Sagitta Jockey Club Stakes at Newmarket on Friday, it was revealed today.
The five-year-old, third in the 2000 Guineas and Derby two years ago, was also entered in the John Mowlem Conditions Stakes at Newmarket on Saturday.
Ian Balding's charge has been beset with leg problems since running in the Derby and has only run once since then, finishing third behind Handsome Ridge in the Shergar Cup Classic at Goodwood last May.
Balding said today: "He is an intended runner in the Jockey Club Stakes.
"The horse is pretty well but he has only had one run in two years and he will want the race.
"He has had lots of problems with his legs but he is sound at the moment. We just take it one race at a time with him.
"Ray Cochrane will ride."
