America will sidestep a clash with Crimplene in the Vodafone Nassau Stakes at Goodwood on Saturday, it was revealed today.
The filly, winner of the Prix Vanteaux and Prix de Malleret this season, will run instead in the Beverly D Stakes, a Grade One contest at Arlington Park on August 19.
Trainer Criquette Head said: 'She`s not running at Goodwood, she`s going to America.
'She`s going to run in the Beverly D - I think it will be easier than the Nassau Stakes which looks tough.
'After that we will see, there are no plans made.'
The daughter of Arazi has won three of her four starts this season, her sole defeat in the Prix Saint-Alary being blamed on a shoulder problem.
Head won the Beverley D Stakes in 1994 with Hatoof, the mount of Walter Swinburn.
