They hadn't gone much of a gallop but John was alert to it and made sure he was bang there turning in. He said he was still green and from thinking he wasn't going to get there, he was then in front too soon as he almost pulled up. We got the rub of the green at the finish but he rallied and has a good attitude. I'd say he is a nice horse to keep going in staying races for the summer . The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident approximately fifty yards from the line involving Jackstell (FR), ridden by Mr J.L. Gleeson, placed first, and Norr's Cross, ridden by Mr D. Kiely, placed second, where it appeared the two horses came close together. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted

Mr C.J. Shine, rider of Fox Hardaway, trained by Terence Leonard, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung left and stopped quickly

Rules or Rules of Racing and which have been placed first, second, third or fourth in a Point-to-Point steeplechase in Ireland or run in two or more Point-to-Point steeplechases in Ireland between 1st October, 2023 and 1st May, 2024
