we liked him (Heavenly Rainbow) but that was a surprise. We had Treasuring by the same sire (Havana Gold) last year and they just show you the minimum at home and seem to come alive on the track. With everything we've seen at home we still didn't think he'd be able to beat the filly (stablemate Palabres) at the weights. It's nice as it's another one that Colin bought to breeze and sold to Vincent (Gaul). They have a nice record together and had that nice horse last year that broke his leg at Naas (Would You Believe). We sold him to Vincent with the view that he could be a cheap little Royal Ascot kind of runner but I wouldn't think so and we'll just have a look at what we have at home. He's qualified now for this series which is a huge bonus to everybody. Vincent hasn't that much to run this year so hopefully he'll pay his way and give him a bit of fun. O'Donoghue, placed second, Count D'orsay, ridden by D.P. McDonogh, placed sixth, Heavenly Rainbow, ridden by C.T. Keane, placed first and Friars Walk, ridden by R.P. Cleary, placed fourth, where it appeared interference had taken place. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards made no alteration to the Judges placings. They were, however, of the opinion that C.O'Donoghue was in breach of Rule 214 in that he had ridden carelessly and having taken his previous record in this regard into account, the Stewards suspended him for 2 racedays

The Stewards enquired into an incident about two furlongs from the winning post involving Dark Conqueror ridden by R.C. Colgan, Heavenly Rainbow ridden by C.T. Keane, Mister Kipling ridden by G.P. Brouder, Hyde Park Corner ridden by C.D. Hayes and Rhosgobel ridden by L.F. Roche. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that the incident was accidental and took no further action. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that S.Foley was in breach of Rule 214 in that he had ridden carelessly and having considered his previous record in this regard, they suspended him for 2 racedays.
