There were two incidents of interference inside the final furlong in this race involving Mrs Discombe (GB), placed second, ridden by Tom Marquand, Tone The Barone (GB), placed fifth, ridden by Martin Dwyer, Triple Distilled (GB), placed dead-heat third, ridden by Oisin Murphy, and Tin Hat (IRE), placed dead- heat third, ridden by Charles Bishop, and Queen Of Burgundy (GB), placed seventh, ridden by Darragh Keenan.

Due to the slight delay in the Judge calling the result after having to examine the photo-finish image which was eventually declared as a dead-heat for third place, the Stewards called a precautionary (B)11.

6 enquiry, as both of the third placed horses were involved in the interference.

After hearing their evidence and viewing recordings of the incident, it was found that the first incident involving Mrs Discombe (GB), Triple Distilled (GB), and Tone The Barone (GB) was accidental as Tone The Barone (GB) had hung left-handed towards Mrs Discombe (GB) and, in doing so, had made brief contact with the filly causing the gelding to lug back right-handed before being corrected by Dwyer.

At the same time Tin Hat (IRE) edged right-handed and as a consequence Triple Distilled (GB) was left short of room in between.

In the second incident Murphy was cautioned for careless riding as after suffering the initial piece of interference, he had edged right-handed to make his run taking Queen Of Burgundy (GB) marginally off its intended line and causing Keenan to take a momentary check.
