It was a bit of a gamble running her. If we could have pulled her out on Friday we would have but there was no change in ground or anything. She ran a cracker in Cork. She's had three runs here now and it's two wins and a second so it's horses for courses. She's tough and genuine. It was hard not to run today with just four runners. She'll need a little break after that. We'll see how she is after that, we'll go back chasing anyway but if a hurdle turns up we'll see what the handicapper does. She was a few pounds wrong there but experience is a big help. J R Finn, trainer

A novice hurdle race for four yrs old and upwards mares only, that are EBF eligible and which at entry are rated 106 or less over hurdles (also open to mares rated 107-116)
Weights - 4-y-o 10st; 5-y-o and up 10st 7lb
Penalties - Performances before 10th July for every 1lb above the rating of 106 1lb extra; On or after 10th July for each hurdle race won 4lb extra; Mares that have not run three times over hurdles and/or do not have a published handicap hurdle rating may enter and run at the discretion of the handicapper provided their performances are rated 116 or less.
