O'Keeffe, placed third, where it appeared that So Enjoy checked off heels when Patrick Joseph (GB) made a manoeuvre towards the rails. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards made no alteration to the Judges placings. Furthermore, they were of the opinion that the interference was caused by K. Brogan riding carelessly, this being a breach of Rule 214. Having taken his previous record into consideration, the Stewards suspended K. Brogan for 2 racedays
