He didn’t jump as well as he can but his toughness allied to a very brave ride saw him come out on top. The Stewards enquired into possible interference in the closing stages involving Dandy Mag (FR), ridden by P. Townend, placed second, Ex Patriot, ridden by Rachael Blackmore, placed third and Project Bluebook (FR), ridden by B.J. Geraghty, placed first. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards made no alteration to the Judge's placings and took no further action. Michael Mulvany, trainer of On The Go Again, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his charge was endoscopically examined by the Racecourse Vet post race which revealed no abnormalities.
