Hen gets off the mark
Hen Night fulfilled the promise of her run last time at Leopardstown to open her account in the fillies maiden at Dundalk.
David Wachman 's charge had finished a nice third on her last outing and stepped up on that to gain her brackets.
Wayne Lordan produced his mount with a strong run inside the final furlong to lead 100 yards out and score by a length-and-a-half from 11/8f Shirley Blake
"She's a nice filly. She ran well first time, improved for the run and did the business today. She'll be okay for next year," said Lordan afterwards.
