He has always had ability. We decided to go back over hurdles with him. It was a great performance by him but maybe fitness over the others was the key. He was tipping away all summer while the others were just starting out. He loves that ground and he kept going. He will go to Leopardstown now at Christmas and he might run before then. The plan was to make plenty of use of him and if they were good enough to go by him so be it.

He travelled well this evening and is just in good order at the minute. He has an entry in Cork tomorrow (in a hurdle) and we will see happens in the morning and how he pulls out of this. He loves what he is doing and if you don't let him race he gets into a bit of a tizzy at home. When we let him race it relaxes him. He is a little bit like wine as he is getting better with age. Galway will be on the menu now and he will be entered in the Hurdle and the Amateur riders race on the first day.

I'm delighted with him. He had a nice run on the flat, a nice bit of work [at Limerick]. The conditions of the race suited him tonight. He travelled well and Tom said he picked up well when they came at him. He loved the ground and jumped well.

today's two miles trip was probably short of Whatuthink's best trip . he ideally wants two and a half or three miles.

I'm happy with that now. We'll go for the Ladbrokes.com World Series Hurdle at Punchestown Festival next and hopefully the ground will be a bit better there.
