It was disappointing he got beat the first day but maybe in hindsight he was a bit raw and a bit weak. He's developed into a fine horse. He has done well today and I'm very, very pleased with him. When I asked him to quicken at the two pole it was all over in a matter of strides. He got seven and got it well here the last day. He's not short of pace and never was. That's what we were expecting on day one but it has taken a while to get it. I'm not sure if he will run again this year as I didn't look beyond today but I'd say he'll get a mile. The ground doesn't really matter to him. He just got it all together today.
