this race has been the plan with Tornado Shay for a little bit and we will now aim him at both the Amateur Handicap and Galway Hurdle at the Galway Festival. He likes Leopardstown and is better on this ground. He's a fair tool and has won around Galway before so handles that track.

The two and a half miles made a difference to him as he was not jumping with confidence over two miles. He's always been a nice horse and the good ground also helped. He'll stick to two and a half miles plus over hurdles next season, and will probably have a summer campaign on the Flat.
