She's a good consistent little mare. It was unfortunate what happened the other day but we are learning with her all the time and put her in last today,. She doesn't like standing around. It's more that she's anxious to get on with it rather than any badness. I was worried about the weight as she got an awful slap - 22lb (for winning at Ballinrobe last month). We might just up her in class now and try a group or listed race. The handicapper will probably give her a few more pound for that. She likes a little bit of ease and the day she got a good cut (Ballinrobe) she got away from them.

I'm a little surprised she has won so well but the handicapper did leave her alone after winning in Bellewstown. We've always thought she is better on soft ground and everything seemed to come right tonight. I'd suppose it's Galway here we come now and hopefully the handicapper doesn't kill her with weight.
