He's very tough - as tough as nails and is a relentless galloper,. Before the Staffordstown Stud Stakes I thought Seolan worked badly as she couldn't get to him but as you can see he's not easy to get to. He's smart. He's improved all year and the more we throw at him the more he comes back. He has been on the market but no-one came for him and his price has gone up now!. He's in the Derby next year. He'll go for a trial and we'll take it from there. He came into this rated only 91 but he keeps improving. It was a clever ride. He looked to be very wide but Chris said the ground was very cut up inside.

He should make a nice mile and a half horse next year. He doesn't really like that ground. He is a half-brother to a Grade 1 winner in the States called Sarah Lynx. He will go to Listowel now for the good Nursery there and then he might run in the Eyrefield Stakes at Leopardstown towards the end of the season. He is a hardy horse. He was a slow learner but he knows his job now.

I think we didn't make enough use of him in Gowran and he got done for a bit of toe (2nd there to King George River). His primary aim this year was to win his maiden. He's a horse for next season basically over a mile and a half plus. He is a two mile Cup horse. He knew his job and Ken Condon's horse (Ballyorban) made it a staying race - my fellow stays well and he is dogged.
