He is a good, tough horse. He won't do too much when he gets there, as he idles in front. I'm delighted for Wayne. We have been waiting for a while for one like this. He is a nice horse and he likes quick ground. He will probably step up to seven furlongs now, he has been crying for seven.

He did it well. He is a bit of a slow learner but he is getting better with every run and he was going away at the line. Maybe a step up to seven furlongs won't do him any harm. Wayne gave him a good ride. I'll have to speak to the owners about where he will go next. They were thinking about Goodwood but he is a Group 2 winner now so we may have to think again.

turning in he was 'climbing in the air' a bit but when I gave him a smack behind the saddle he went forward well. He was very green on his first run and learned a lot from his second run. He's one to look forward to for the rest of the year.
