It's not before time but he had two great runs. He jumps like a buck and he loves that ground,. We'll go for a novice hurdle now and see how much he can step up. He's getting there and he can go back on the Flat as well, a mile-and-a-half on the Flat as a mile-six just gets to him a bit.

He’d a good run in Fairyhouse and it’s the first time we really had him fit. He’s had problems with his sinus and in the last month he’s really turned a corner. He’ll mix hurdles with the Flat. Shane said he was so keen that he thought he would fall in a hole and he got to the furlong pole and he took off. He could go up to two miles on the Flat.
