She was carrying a lot of weight for a small little filly and I thought the handicapper had her when he put her up. Ben said she was under pressure the whole way but she just keeps at it and is as honest as you can get. A little give in the ground helps her. Her best trip is 1m2f. I was toying with idea of running her in the Lartigue Hurdle last week but she would have been out of the handicap so I decided to drop back in trip for this.

She is as tough as old boots. She isn't the fastest in the world but keeps giving everything she has and is only a pony. I wish I had a few more of them and every day she goes out she draws money. It was lovely to win that pot with an average enough filly. I have a thing in the back of my mind to go over hurdles with her at Galway. She jumps well.

We were a bit disappointed the last day in Navan - I think the ground was a little on the firm side for her. Ben said there that he didn't think she was travelling that well but when he gave her a smack she really took off. She found a lot for him. She's a good, honest, little filly and hopefully she'll keep improving. The little bit of ease in the ground helped. Probably at the back end of the year we might give her a little pop over a hurdle. I'd say she'd make a good little three-year-old hurdler. She gives me all the vibes for that job - even though she's small she's good and tough. There's hardly a race for her in Galway next week - she'd be out of the handicap. The handicaps are too good. Sligo the following week would be a possibility. I felt sorry for Gary (Carroll on Burning Question) but we're delighted to get the win.

it was nice to get it as I thought she was a little unlucky the last day at Leopardstown when she got cut off when coming with a run. I don't know where to go now but we'll see what's there for her and she seems to be improving all the time. That's Ben's first winner for me and he had ridden a couple of placed horses for me. I think he's a very good young fellow and he is the future if he can keep his weight down. I think he's well worth his 7lbs claim.

That’s my first ever double. They are all running well for us and we had three seconds at Navan last Saturday and six seconds in all over the last ten days. It’s always been a lucky track for us, and we had our first two-year-old winner here. Coming back in trip was a little bit of a worry, and Gary said she nearly got knocked over coming off the home bend but she kept going well. She seems to handle most surfaces and she is a small handy little filly so hopefully she can keep going.
