He was in good old form and he had won the Red God around here before,. He was a crazy price tonight at 25/1 and they all had a few bob on him so they are delighted. He's had a few little issues but he's getting a bit older. I'm delighted he won and we'll see what the handicapper does now.

A little bit of soft ground helped him because he is getting a little bit older,. He was entitled to win down in that grade. He ran well in Leopardstown. We'll see what the handicapper does.

it's good to get there with him as he was a bit unlucky in Cork. I got a bit confused after Cork (over 1m4f) as we ran in couple of races that sort of suited but I don't think he stays the extended mile-and-a-half up the Curragh. He doesn't have the stamina for it. They went a little bit slow today and quickened and fortunately he got his head down at the right time. The owners are delighted and that's the main thing and it's a nice prize to get. We've been beaten in three or four of these this season so it's nice to get one.

That's a bonus — fantastic. He's been a very progressive horse all year,. I'm delighted for the owners. It's a nice pot to get and it was a very competitive handicap. He won well. He pricked his ears coming past me a furlong out and I knew he had a bit left in the tank. The handicapper has given him plenty but the step up in trip has brought about a little bit of improvement. Gary have him a peach of a ride. When the gap came he was good enough to go through it and he rode a lovely race from stall 12.

We are going well. It was great to have a winner in Galway, its our first winner as we only had a couple of runners here last year. Gary gave him a great ride. It didn't go to plan early but Gary used his head and he's great value for his 3lbs. I better not praise him too much! . He won well. In fairness to him he is quite consistent since we got him. He was a bit unlucky the last day, he ran well in Naas and we said we would put him away for the owners as they wanted to have a runner in Galway. He has won so it's a bonus.

He's a consistent horse. He needs cover and luck in running. Donnacha gave him a great ride. He'll stay further and jump a hurdle in time. He's going to have one more run and then get a little break. Half a loaf is better than nothing at all. Gary said they were going no pace so he took the initiative and went to the front. He was leery in front but ran well and we're happy with that.

He was bought at the Newmarket Horses in Training Sale in October for new owners, Ann and Damian Cassidy, who are from Prosperous. There is a mile race back here in a few weeks that he could go for.
