Selection Box is an eleven year old but keeps surprising us! He is a smashing horse and is so tough. This was a lovely pot to win and it was his owner Stephen Elliott (one of the four member Belfast based Web Law Racing Syndicate) that suggested this race to run in.

the Ulster National is the lonterm plan. It's very important that he has to go right-handed, and while we'll see what the handicapper does now, we'll probably find a race in the middle of January next. He's a versatile horse distance-wise - it was only 2m2f today but he does stay well and from the bottom of the hill he wasn't going to be beaten.

He's a great wee horse and that's his fifth win. We were expecting a good run as he is rated 22Ibs lower over hurdles than he is over fences. He loves the soft ground and Eddie gave him a great ride. We'll look for something similar now but he will go back over fences too.
