I don't know what to say about this fella, he's just a legend,. The young fella was very good on him today, he was stone last when he jumped. They went a good gallop and it suited him. He just grows another leg on this ground. He's just a brilliant horse to have, he's so popular and he never runs a bad race. I'm going to Newmarket this week, but I don't know what money I'd need to find a horse like him. It's great for the lads, we'll rock on again next year and probably go back for a Lincoln and do the same thing again. He still has his old spark, especially on soft ground. Adam is a good kid and he doesn't panic, that's for sure. He's good value for the 7lb and I probably won't have it for that long.

I can't fight with the handicapper anymore anyway, that's for sure. We put him in this race by chance as he was going so well. People probably thought I was mad running him here after running in the mud but he'd been here a couple of times and he just floats on the surface. Sam (Ewing) was very good on him and it's great for everyone involved. That's his fourth win of the year and he'd just a superstar of a horse to have. I'm just thrilled to have him. He'll get a break now, he won't go travelling. Lingfield could be a possibility for him but I think we'll target stakes races on soft ground at the start of next season. I don't know about the Galway Mile next year, I'd want a 20lb claimer on him! It's a great problem to have with a horse. I'm praying to God that I can keep his form the way it is. He's just turned inside out with age and I'm delighted to have him.

I ran him in Bart O’Sullivan’s colours as he’s dead a year two days ago. I’m dedicating the whole thing to Bart as only for him I wouldn’t be here today. He got me the owners and got me going. The O’Sullivan family got me involved with the Dooleys. I’m just thrilled to bits that the horse has done it. He’s such a warrior of a horse as he had his problems before we got him but when he’s right he’s a serious horse. Gavin has been brilliant on the horse all year and hasn’t put a foot wrong. He got a dream run up the rail. He’s won on all types of ground and is just a fabulous horse to have. We’ll probably give him a break now and look forward to next year with him.

He is a fabulous horse and to be honest I thought he'd struggle today on the ground but he went through it very very easy; I just hope the handicapper doesn't get carried away as they are getting well strung out today,. It is a pleasure to have him, what he has done for us in the past two years is amazing and he is a dream horse to have. He wouldn't carry a penalty in a Listed race so we will try and find something for him before the turf season ends and then finish him up until next year.

I can’t believe that we’ve done it back to back and it’s more of a surprise than last year,. It was all so close — I was up in the top-tier of the stand and didn’t know (if he'd won). The plan was to drop in and Gavin gave him a wonderful ride. It was serious stuff from him — ballsy. I was worried his five pounds would be gone before this race came around, but he’s a very very good jockey and I’m thrilled to bits. We worked the horse last week and he worked bad, so we were wondering would we be running him at all.

I thought we had everything covered as such behind us, it was just what was in front of us - Donnacha's horse (Numerian) was just after getting out and getting running. This lad was travelling well as he met the rising ground and he really powered up the hill. I can't believe it and it is great for the crew who have worked hard and for (owners) the Dooley brothers from Manchester and Bart O'Sullivan, who is also our yard sponsor. Today was a plan, some of these plans don't come out but this has come out and it is brilliant. Stevie (Thorne), my assistant, is brilliant at picking out these horses and picked him out at Goffs and we looked at him. He had had a few problems and had bled a few times, but he said he was a horse we could take a chance on and we always felt Galway was a fantastic place to be in, so we tried to get him up for Galway and it has happened.

He's a smasher and is a gorgeous looking horse and has a lovely temperament. He travelled good, picked up well and probably got there a bit too soon and is still a bit green. He's a horse we like and will run next in the Eyrefield Stakes at Leopardstown. He handles that ground but wouldn't necessarily need it by any means. He is so straightforward and it is only starting for him - there's more to come.
