It's unbelievable. Tiffer (his son Christopher who died last year) was looking down on me today. He helped me there. That's just special. I gave Ger no instructions. He knew the horse as he had rode him in Listowel and won a Kerry National on him so there was no need for instructions. The fourth horse ran a blinder as well and I couldn't be happier.

He's an out-an-out stayer and he had it all his own way today. He got a great ride from Ger, and he jumped well today. He's a horse I thought might win the four-miler at Cheltenham but it just clicked today. I honestly didn't know (if he won the photo-finish) but I presumed I was second!. Rule The World is not in love with that ground but he's run very well.

There's nothing like winning a Plate (his Rule The World slipped up between the last 2) but it wasn't to be so we'll take this one. I'll have to talk to the owners now and see what they want to do,.

After race at

He jumps and obviously loves the ground. Blinkers were a big help and we'll find a winners of one. We may go for the four mile race at Cheltenham,.
