I was funny about the trip but the rain helped. He is tricky and has taken a while to get to know him. He runs very free but settled a lot better today and this is a lovely race to win as I knew Liam Hogan. I'll freshen him up and will go somewhere else with him.

That was badly needed as we've after a bad run of it and had more placed horses in the last couple of months!” . He deserved that today and I thought he was handicapped a bit high and hadn't been dropped for his recent runs. His weight was catching him a few days but he had a lovely weight today and had a great jockey on board. We'll tip away and aim for Limerick over Christmas.
