There would be no point buying a DVD! We put the blinkers on him and they sharpened him up. Donagh said he was faster over his fences. Last time in Limerick the ground was just gone too tacky for him. He won three last year and has been starting to come back to himself. The looser ground today helped and he likes coming off a strong gallop. I want to go to Aintree with him but he needed to win here and go up 5 or 6lb to get into the good 3m1f handicap chase on Grand National day. If the ground is soft there it would suit him.

He's been a great servant to win three races. If it hadn't been on the outside track here I wouldn't have even declared him because he needs a galloping track. He'll go for something similar,.

I rode work on this horse the other day and felt he'd win. He didn't really handle the track (at Thurles) the last day. He's probably a better horse at a bigger track, and he might be suited by running in a better race carrying a nice weight,. He's 109 over hurdles and had good runs in maidens. There is a rated race in Limerick the week after Cheltenham over two and a half miles and he might run in that.

he stuck at it well and didn't want to be second again! He seemed to love the ground and the big galloping track. He's had bits of problems and we gave him a break and he's in again at Thurles on Thursday and will either go there, or for an opportunity race at Leopardstown in March.
