We are supplementing him for the World Hurdle as his jumping over fences just keeps letting him down. He has a lot of class though and will be interesting in the World Hurdle.

I think the fact that the horse didn't go to Cheltenham meant he was a fresher horse coming here. They went a stride slower in the three mile race and he was able to get into a rhythm and jump. Hopefully next year now he'll be there in all the three mile races and he'll be competitive. He's learning all the time. We always knew he was a good horse. His jumping just had to come together. Danny's done a great job and he's been down to Con Powers to school as well.

Mount Benbulben has got a right engine if we can get his jumping right. He is a bit sketchy and it was a good performance considering he was nearly on the ground (at the second fence). We'll look for something over Christmas and he's entered in the three miles Grade 1 Fort Leney Chase at Leopardstown and he'd have no trouble staying that trip.

He's a nice horse and he's very tough. He's got a fair engine and going further will be no problem. We'll look for something over Christmas for him and we'll see how he comes out of this race. We wouldn't go any shorter. He stays very well. He could run here on December 18th in a Grade 1 over two-and-a-half-miles.

It was a messy race at Galway the last day and he didn't really settle,. Paul did a good job of settling him today. He's a good horse. He'll probably go to Navan for the (Grade 2) Monksfield Novice Hurdle (27th November) and he'll probably get an entry for the Royal Bond as well. He's a proper stayer and the further he goes the better he will be.

He's improved again since Thurles. We're really delighted with him. I can't believe he did it so well. He'll probably have a break now and come back hurdling next season.
